It's used in Lunar New Year for "lucky money". I have a feeling it'll only be coins. I don't even bother to open mine up. I use them for a "lucky tree". I love my "lucky tree".... bare trees w/out leaves, and I stick these guys on them. Will keep them for luck throughout the year.

hmmm, there's a good point - what, besides coins, do we get out of those? i haven't seen anything that says there will be rares or yocash like there is for the gift boxes. i have a feeling you could be right about it being only coins.

Just received a message that said, "Have your friends send you FREE YoCash! Try sending them the new YoVille Mystery Gifts".... so who knows, maybe there ARE YoCASH and YoCoins.

Still not gonna open mine though, wanna just collect them. Wonder if it will still be valid by the end of the year...

i just noticed today (and i think this is a change from before) that the red envelope now has the same question mark and the same little money/coin/xp icons underneath it that the mystery box does.

so maybe they are just the same as the mystery box, but i think i'll stick with the box just in case.

Didn't they remove the mystery gift from the box though? The only thing I would look forward to is the mystery gift. However, my chances of getting one is so low, that I am more frustrated when I open them up and get coins :-D I can work for coins. even if it takes hours and hours and hours of it :-D

Didn't they remove the mystery gift from the box though? The only thing I would look forward to is the mystery gift. i don't know. i know the changed the rare at one point from the bouy to the valentines sampler, and i recall a rumor that they've taken out all the yocash so that no one gets yocash anymore, but that's all i've heard.

Today i got 2,000 coins from envelope, and a chinese firecracker. I hung it my apt lol, but if you click it says you can only use once. And yes, from the mystery boxes i got two buoys, and recently one valentine gift basket
