true, but there are so few people that know anything about chess. even some people who make chess games call it a castle (and quite a few neglect to add 'en passant' to the game).

Well, wish I could say I am a true chess player.    I've spent too many days playing it in college, but have lost to a friend so often... I gave up.     I love watching people play it on a lazy Sunday afternoon still.

I have never played Chess in my life...I think it is amazing that people can play it, just not for me. Rather pick up my old school Super Nintendo cotroller and I am good to go

ummm - yoville may not be an arcade game, but i'm pretty sure it qualifies as a video game. it's sort of like an rpg type of game, actually.

Darn it.... so that means I've never gotten away from my addiction.  I've never really considered it as a "game game"... more like a chatting forum, with moving parts created in a friendly atmosphere.  But I see your point.

 i would say it was a virtual sim kinda  rpg  but right on the edge of a rpg

sorry about that. it used to be even less like a 'game game', but now that it has experience points and leveling up, and 'achievements', etc, it's gotten closer and closer to being like so many other games out there. i suppose it may be closer to a multi-player version of the sims than an rpg, technically.

i wonder if they are adding more Rare Items on those envelopes and mystery packs. I get to open like 180 boxes/envelopes combined a day  and all i get are coins and Whimsical Purple Berry Vine/ Blue Mushroom Plant.

The chest I haven't gotten anything other than coins.

wow, 180 a day? i'm jealous. although, that is a lot of clicking so maybe it's a good thing i don't get that many. i seem to have gotten at least 1 of most things with the exception of the volcano, gold mushroom, and blue flower plant. i finally got a set of drums last night and i'm so glad i didn't spend money on them now that i have them because frankly they don't seem to have any intrinsic value. the smaller whimsical plants (the ones in flower pots) are the same. at least the big ones are big and goofy looking.

it takes work really like tons of work to get all that a day as I have 14 accounts to keep up the past weeks. The crucial part is that for past 2 days (but not consecutively) that I played Yoville I have transferred all those packs from one account to my main one because I am on level 50 thus sparing me those useless YP.

And yes I have gotten chinese drums from envelopes in the past and so as the red and gold mushroom. I also have a lot of those purple berry vines to keep. I'm  assuming it's not where we get those Blue Vines from. Oh well.

I have a hard time keeping up w/2 accounts.  I have yet to receive the topiary like plant, and the blue vines and gold mushrooms (from the chest).  I saw an event yesterday to sell the gold mushroom ... 20K.  That's insane!!  To be honest, if it were for 1K I still wouldn't buy it.  Just for the mere fact there's more pleasure for me upon openning the gift and seeing something aside from the coins.

As for the drums, it's awful.... worse than freebies (IMO).

i opened 230 packs for today and whew my fingers are tired. What makes it worse is I gifted them all to my main account to avoid the YP again. And guess what? i got 2 blue mushrooms on a pot and 2Yocash grrrrrrrrrr   

they should put more stuff there.

well at least you got some yocash. i don't really know how to value the other stuff - i think it's value is too fluid (even moreso than yocash). shame they don't put more than 2 yocash in a package.
